The US DOJ has now officially admitted what the Congress ecosystem refused to accept for 19 months.

In its July 4 filing, the Department of Justice stated that the criminal case against Gautam Adani should never have been brought in the first place. They called it a “name-and-shame” exercise with no realistic prospect of trial.

Yet, when the indictment came in November 2024, Rahul Gandhi immediately held a press conference demanding Adani’s arrest in India. The entire Congress ecosystem, along with their media and activist network, launched a full-scale campaign to paint Adani as a criminal without waiting for a single piece of evidence or due process.

The result?

Adani Group companies lost nearly $55 billion in market value within days. Retail investors who held shares through mutual funds and direct equity paid the price for this political drama.

Now that even the US government has admitted the case was weak and flawed, the same ecosystem that created panic and damaged Indian markets has gone completely silent.

This was never about fighting corruption. It was about using foreign allegations as a political weapon to target Indian industry, and retail investors were the collateral damage.
