" To walk in my own way, free, with an eye to see things as they are... yet with all modesty to say, my soul be satisfied with flowers, with weeds, with thorns even; but gather them in the one garden I may call my own."
-Cyrano de Bergerac

Rob's sick, so we're switching gears. Think Kickstarter Roulette! Or Indie Comic BLIND BAG! What will we find?? https://t.co/339WXswNoY

[Michael Bancroft @thelucentcomic]

@Frost_Comics This won't be a promo show. More of an Art Share type show with a concept. I'll get back to you if I can fit you in for a chat.

[Michael Bancroft @thelucentcomic]

Rob's sick, so instead of Art Share tonight, I'm going to try something new. A kickstarter campaign blind bag show. What could go wrong???

[Vaughn Coleman @VaughnMColeman]

The lettering for both Phenomenova Issue 5 and The Wraith Crown Issue 1 are nearly complete! Don’t forget to snag them. All variants will be limited and the Kickstarter campaign will close out soon!

@Vasen_Kasi @Timcast I'm pretty sure that's what happened to Steve Jobs.

@Nygma85 Hamerella was my second favourite book from last C.O.C.tober.

I Found This CRAZY Comic in My Collection! https://t.co/3G21gzj2tc

[Michael Bancroft @thelucentcomic]

@Immortalrising1 That's it! I read a comic, pop my phone in the rig above my desk, hit record, and 5 to 10 mins later it's done. No scripting, no editing. Minimal colour correction and upload. Decent views too.

[Michael Bancroft @thelucentcomic]

@Nygma85 Very nice, Elliot!

[Michael Bancroft @thelucentcomic]

@deathshroud @TheRippaverse @RippaSend DUDE! That's awesome. Captured the aesthetic perfectly.

@mikiariyama Was it ever really a movement?

The more I think about it, the more secure in my job I feel. I'm picturing some HR lady having the responsibility of designing and producing her company's product packaging. Assuming she had any idea what would make an appealing package, and could even hand the mm specific custom die cut and multi faceted, 3D box design, when she sends it to print...

"Hey Canva, my printer is saying my print file is unprintable. They need it in ISO Coated v2 (ECI) colour profile, and say they need both a 3mm bleed on all edges, and a slug with glue, fold and cut notes in it."

To which Tim's answer is, "Grok made me some clip art,"

[Michael Bancroft @thelucentcomic]

@Timcast @GPrime85 Clip art has existed for four decades, yet designers and illustrators persist.

@realdonchin Happy birthday Don!
