I just published my first UE5 Plugin for environment artist. Best radial array, dynamic asset placer with mouse click, scroll through your meshes with mouse wheel, measure tool, material picker tool and a lot of other cool stuff.
I work for WWE but watch a lot of wrestling worldwide. This goes for all wrestlers in all companies. I have worked in Wrestling for 42 years. An observation. We are portraying trained pro fighters with instincts ( even comedy bouts). If you don’t win you would make less money in the story we’re telling. Every TV bout , if there’s a pin, the cameras focus in. Please pin and kick out like your life and career depend on it. In story, it does. I’ve also been a part of knowing most talent since the 2000’s in many companies. As time goes by younger talent copy their favourite of film. I recently watch AJ Styles v Amazing Red from the early 2000’s. I see how many people copied them. What I saw was every pin was aggressively applied and shoulders covered and stacked. Every kick out they kicked out like their life depended on it. Something has been lost in the last 20 + years. Let’s not insult the intelligence of our audience who are giving us their precious time. In a fight scene in a movie ( which is what wrestling is) we know the punches don’t really hit but if we saw that we would eventually stop watching it. Your audience and fans deserve better. If you can’t be uncomfortable for a few seconds being stacked up in a pin, maybe this isn’t for you.
You have to imagine it's a crushing amount of pressure to be a leader when a death happens. Mox can't afford to fall apart even if he wants to. To watch him communicate the real pain he's feeling through the performance of being a Wrestler is potent and painful.
“The only way out... is through!”
Two consecutive losses have left the Death Riders searching for answers. A rare moment of frustration from @JonMoxley sees his teammates rally around him with a powerful reminder!

#Blocktober Day 3: Iteration
Your first blockout probably isn’t going to be right.
And that’s the point.
This is Containment, a symmetrical combat map I designed. The first version started as a simple sketch on paper. From there, I built it in-engine, played it, found problems, and iterated.
The layout changed. Cover moved. Routes were adjusted. Sightlines were opened and closed. Spaces were resized.
The final result looked very different from that first sketch, but the core idea remained.
Good level design isn’t about getting the blockout perfect on the first try. It’s about building something, testing it, learning from it, and iterating until the space starts doing what you want.
Don’t be afraid to throw your first version away. It’s doing its job if it teaches you what the second version needs to be.

#LevelDesign #GameDev
We lost a true industry legend yesterday.
Polycount has its roots in the early FPS mod and dev scene, where Richard “Levelord” Gray helped shape what it meant to be a level designer and create the maps that defined a generation of shooters.
Whether you had the chance to work with him, learned from his work, or were influenced by his design without even realizing it, Levelord helped pave the way for generations of level designers, world artists, and environment artists.
His impact on our industry runs deeper than many realize and his legacy will live on in the worlds we build for years to come.
Richard "Levelord" Gray passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 68.
"You're not supposed to be here! - Levelord"
You don't need much to begin with.
Standard default modular base mesh kit assets to start with for most interiors or exteriors.
Wall, floor, ceiling, column, doorway, door, window, stairs.
Create these then expand from here.
