The Saint Albert Saintes are your 2026 Fillies Invitational Champions, for what is believed to be just the second time ever (2023)!

Your Saintes Champions were Joslyn Boswell (#2 Singles) and Maeve Ryan & Madelyn Dawson (#2 Doubles), while Ruby Narmi (#1 Singles) and Brooklyn Hughes & Ellie Larmie (#1 Doubles) finished as Runner-Ups.

The Saintes JV went a combined 17-2 on the day, and 9th grader Ruby Narmi picked up her first varsity win!

A special thanks to Shenandoah for their customary excellent job hosting the meet!

@TrevMaeder96 The absurdity of two governing bodies for HS sports serves Iowans poorly. It creates extra work for schools & coaches. The number of classifications varies. Referees deal with redundancies. People who want to hear or watch state tournaments/championships have to play detectives.

The Saint Albert Catholic Class of 1978 reunited, joined by class sponsor, Msgr. Steve Orr. @DMDiocese. It took us a while to break in the new guy in 1974 but we got there by graduation some years later. 😉

We enjoyed our time together.
