This recent post by PGMN is pure, unadulterated baloney.

First and foremost, that ridiculous “2025 Asian Pillar of Integrity" award does not exist. IT IS A COMPLETELY FABRICATED, DELUSIONAL TTILE.

CJ Hirro wasn't crowned by any self-respecting, prestigious journalism body; her only actual trophy was a pathetic internal pat on the back as PGMN's "Anchor of the Year."

Calling a self-described "political strategist" the Philippines’ top investigative journalist is an absolute insult to REAL, blood-sweating INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISTS like Sheila Coronel, Yvonne Chua, Jessica Soho, Maria Ressa, and Malou Mangahas.

Her home turf, PGMN, is NOT a vetted newsroom. It is a HYPER-PARTISAN digital echo chamber run by a clown show leadership like Franco Mabanta.

That "flood-control investigation" IS NOT groundbreaking journalism. It is the centerpiece of a greasy, amateurish extortion racket.

Following a humiliating NBI entrapment operation that rightfully landed PGMN founder Franco Mabanta in cuffs for trying to hold an unreleased "exposé" hostage for a multi-million peso payoff from Martin Romualdez, law enforcement is now treating that exact video as cheap leverage in a criminal shakedown.

This sordid little extortion scheme is precisely what dragged CJ Hirro into the mud and landed her a formal subpoena as a "person of interest."

The public is pretty skeptical about the new anti-dynasty bill or House Bill No. 8389.

Watchdogs are calling it "pro-dynasty" because it is packed with loopholes.

By only banning immediate family up to the second degree, it completely ignores extended relatives like uncles and cousins.

Plus, because of a jurisdictional blind spot, a family can still vertically lock down a whole province as long as they are not running in the exact same tier or town.

The irony is not lost on anyone, especially since the main guys pushing it to fulfill a long-delayed constitutional mandate are Speaker Bojie Dy III and Majority Leader Sandro Marcos — and let’s not sugarcoat this — both are from massive political clans.

Their original draft actually went up to the fourth degree, but it got seriously watered down just to survive the Lower House.

In this video Majority Floor Leader Sandro Marcos calls a spade a spade: the House is packed with dynasties.

He basically admits that a stricter bill would have been “dead on arrival”.

For him, this lax version was a necessary, pragmatic compromise just to get the foot in the door, pass the House, and let the Senate tighten the screws later during the bicameral conference.

If Sara Duterte sends another answer ad cautelam — the Filipino people will definitely lose it!

Today, June 1, 2026, is the deadline for Vice President Sara Zimmerman Duterte to file her Answer to the 4 Articles of Impeachment. If she finally submits her response,  it will mark one of the first detailed public explanations from the Vice President addressing the specific accusations leveled against her in this impeachment case.

Sara Duterte wants a blood bath and I think with just what we know so far regarding the case — she will definitely get what she wants.

But I do not take the possibility of another “answer ad cautelam”, she might be desperate enough to once again argue her petition before the Supreme Court. That’s how low I think of her at this point — desperate people do desperate things.

Who knows? Maybe, not her band of lawyers can defend her from the overwhelming evidence and witnesses.

We all have to wait and see. 7:00PM! But don’t get me wrong — I want her to file her response so this impeachment trial can finally move forward!
