1967 - The last year voters approved KCPS bond funding.
60 - The average age of our school buildings.
$650M - Amount of deferred maintenance at school buildings.
KCPS is the only Missouri school district in the region without voter-approved bond funding.
Isn't it time?
I did a double take when I saw this almost casually mentioned at a @kcpublicschools board meeting. Between early Sept and mid-April, K-12 enrollment grew 7%.

Repairs are underfunded in KCPS. Our teachers & students need you!

Today @KCPS_Trailwoods staff finished our book study: History of Racism in KC. Such great, honest conversations on rascim, history of kc & most importantly setting action steps to ensure we are being change agents. Education leads to Awareness which leads to Action/ Change
