@downbadcomment When you really think about what love is and what we hope for, it is someone you can pull weeds with and have a good time. Bring a coffee, pull some weeds and get to know someone you are attracted to. Pretty awesome first date.
@KosherChutzpah Anyone who disagrees with funding Israel hates them? That such a manipulative statement. People are allowed to have a different perspective on where their tax dollars go. You don’t get to label them as hating anyone. All you are doing is making Israel look bad.
@kpac_15 I wonder if the four year term, creates short term thinking. Immigration requires longer term thinking about scalability of growth and what takes a long time to scale.
@grok with UAE leaving Opec, if Opec were to cease to exist, and a barrel of oil is determined purely based on the free market, what would the price per barrel be and would fracking countries be competitive?
I hire students and generally speaking I get a good mix of people. I am not a fan of TFW program in certain areas where I feel more should be done to attract student workers. I think it keeps wages artificially low. I would prefer the market determine wages, forcing employers to compete for employees.
@Eeino0@JayGenXer Yeah from covid to supply chain issues, war in Ukraine, now war in Iran. The prices of groceries are not going down. Covid left food manufacturers with no savings and more debt. This conservative belief they will be able to impact the cost of groceries is a myth.
@Palethinker13@Dionysianist@JayGenXer@grok can you walk me through how the cost per barrel of oil is determined? What events affect it? Does Canada have the ability to affect the price per barrel?
@rodneyburger@JayGenXer How does wanting a cleaner world make someone a retard? You can disagree on the methods to get there. Even China is embracing alternative forms of energy.
A person has a different perspective and you respond like this… and call me a moron. What you are saying is a conservative govt would of handled covid perfectly, would of alleviated the supply chain issues covid caused, magically kept fuel prices static during the Ukraine and Iran war? Now you want Canada to be like Norway, a socialist govt.
I am not saying Liberals aren’t without fault. I don’t believe in blaming liberalism or conservativism for the problems we deal with. I don’t agree with generalizations like that.
Conservative govt would of had to deal with covid, world supply chain issues, war in Ukraine, war in Iran… all things that the Canadian govt didn’t have a lot of control over. Could Liberals have done better? Yes of course but to assume we would be peachy if we had a conservative govt is not realistic. At the end of the day, most Liberals and Conservatives live in the middle and have more in common with eachother than those on the far left or right.
If there is a lesson over the past half decade it would be, when we adopt NDP policies which Trudeau liberals had to do to stay in power, Canada moves too far to left, beyond what we are comfortable with. We are not a socialist country. Other than good universal healthcare, I think most of us value being fiscally responsible.
