It just dawned on my why ChatGPT just makes up its own facts. It has proven to be a successful strategy for so long and it is trained on human behavior/language. ChatGPT blows the same smoke your crazy uncle does! Now I fear AI for a completely different reason!

@Dsrussosusan Perhaps a more unpopular opinion then: Factoring GCF is more important that factoring quadratic trinomials. GCF factoring is a much more generalized factoring type, is easier to learn, and is a more conceptually important. If we were moving one of the two, I’m for keeping GCF.
