It's important to share these videos. FSD is extremely impressive for running only on cameras and a 3-year-old computer, but it's nowhere near the level it needs to be for unsupervised self-driving.

It still makes dumb and dangerous mistakes like this one, and if you are not ready to correct it like this guy was, you'll be dead, and Tesla will blame you right away.

ID Polo Car of the Year but there's a big Problem

The German Car of the Year (GCOTY) jury named the new VW ID. Polo the best small car of the year, yet there is a problem.

Delivery times currently range from 12 to 24 months depending on the model, suggesting that VW either failed to anticipate demand or simply isn't interested in selling that many vehicles.

VW has disclosed its cost structure for achieving a 1% margin by 2026; this reveals that, despite write-offs, VW’s less profitable battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) inevitably contribute to corporate losses rather than profits.

At the same time, the VW Group faces EU penalty payments for exceeding CO2 limits for selling too many ICE, penalties that will accumulate to painful 2.75 billion euros by August.

Even though the Polo appears in high demand, the company can only deliver units in a way that minimizes penalties and losses, as selling too many vehicles can actually have a negative impact on the bottom line. Indeed, pooling with Tesla or BYD has also been a common strategy but will be costly too so the question is which death to die.

VW finds itself in a difficult situation here, while the vehicle is hopefully according to the demand a successful model, it is also advisable for the car to make money and that seems to be not the case.

On top one may ask who is waiting 1 to 2 years for the delivery of its car? I won't and a friend of mine who ordered it has second thoughts too.

@HelmPeter Ist ein gutes Gefühl.
Erstens spart es Geld,
Zweitens ist man nicht mehr von den ölexportierenden Ländern incl. USA und Russland abhängig
und Drittens ist es gut für die Umwelt.

PS.: Ich kaufe nur mehr Öl zum Braten und für den Salat.

@cpp_th Ich würde mir niemals einen Tesla kaufen, weil ich Elon Musk und seine Unterstützung für den kriminellen Trump ablehne. Musk zerstört uns.
Meinen letzten Neuwagen habe ich im März 2015 abgeholt. Damals gab es leider kein E-Auto für 30.000€ mit Platz für 4 Personen + Hund.
