for peak performance every year you should spend 3 months in a latestage capitalist metropolis mogging capitalists, 6 months in an off grid self sustaining commune , 2 months locked in a remote location , and 1 month wherever you grew up
Good shadow work:
Allow yourself to feel completely and utterly ordinary. Not special, nor ascended. Not exceptionally intelligent, attractive, talented, conscious, or good at anything.
If you can sit with that possibility without trying to prove otherwise, your deepest insecurities will come up loudly - then you can surrender the parts of you that need to feel better than everyone else to be worthy of love.
Call me a conspiracist, but I believe in the next 5-10 years we’ll see smart people leave society and build sovereign conscious communities to escape from the technocratic Wall-E future the world leaders have planned for us.
This movement is already starting and it’s just a matter of time more people realize the way we’re living now is totally ass backwards.
Instead of asking AI for advice:
1. Pull out a notebook.
2. Think of the question you need answered.
3. Ask your Higher Self for guidance.
4. Write down the first thing that comes to mind.
5. Don't censor it, even if you don't like what you hear.
Do this right and you'll get the answers you didn't want but needed. More powerful than the smartest AI on the planet.
Every time I start thinking a project is gonna be hard and take a long time I remind myself of the time Werner Herzog PULLED A 30 TON BOAT OVER A F*CKING MOUNTAIN WITH JUST LOGS OF WOOD. Puts things in perspective.
Everybody should have a hobby they do just because it's fun.
You'll be surprised how fast you learn when you're not chasing results.
There's a lesson in that...
I firmly believe that we can literally feel the amount of handmade human care put into something.
That’s why the old animated films often feel like they have more “soul.”
That is the expression of human care you’re sensing.
I hope we don’t lose this.

it's hard to accept that beautiful things are made by people no smarter and no more special than you, because that means it's really about putting in the hours.
there are no secrets. you just need to stay until the work becomes great.
i noticed i’m using ‘chat gpt-isms’ in my writing more and more. i consult AI so often the diversity of my language is regressing by osmosis. i gotta get back to reading more human writing.
took me way too long to learn this:
you will keep reliving the same lesson until you learn from it.
same people, same situations, same emotional patterns.
that’s karma.
