Church leaders:
Let’s not just prepare our people to do ministry on Sundays.
There is limitless ministry potential from Monday-Saturday through the power of the Spirit at work in, through, and among every believer!
Your culture is determined not by the standard you talk about and hope for, but by the standard you live.
Actions + Words
Leaders set the tone. Leaders define culture. Lead intentionally.
Have you been born again?
Have you believed in Jesus as the Son of God?
Have you walked out of darkness into the light?
Have you surrendered your “truth” for the Truth?
You must be born again!
Jesus said in John 3 that though everyone is born of the flesh, not everyone is born of the Spirit.
Only those who are born again—of the Spirit—will be saved and experience eternal life.
This “second birth” occurs when one believes in Jesus as the Son of God and walks in the light of His truth, indwelled with the very Spirit of God. In this way, he becomes a new creation and experiences a second birth.
God performs His perfect will in and through His servants as they obey His authoritative Word in faithful expectation.
How else do you think our faithful obedience interacts with God's Word?
When Jesus turned the water into wine in John 2, the miracle occurred as the servants were obeying his command.
In fact, many of the miracles of Jesus involved some kind of obedience to His Word BEFORE the miracle was realized, as a an act of faith.
If you're hoping for a miracle, and / or praying for God's evidential activity in your life, intersect your hopes and prayers with faith demonstrated by obedience to God's Word.
