Meshtastic is an open-source project for off-grid, decentralized communication using low-cost, low-power devices. Build your network with Meshtastic today!
@_Ben_in_Chicago@NEEDcreations Thank you, but Meshtastic does not replace nor is it capable of replacing the internet. If their need is remote internet service, Starlink is likely their best bet. But, if they need off grid mesh comms, we’re here to help! 🫡
@wessorh Sorry, we do not set the pricing for the event. Additionally, they typically have early bird pricing available immediately after the event for the next year that is considerably cheaper.
We're heading to Open Sauce this weekend (July 17–19) 🎉 No booth number yet since they're working through a new assignment process this year, but we will have one, so find us and come say hi!

Precise location can be shared, just not using known keys like the default one. We don’t believe burning is our only userbase, in fact is a rather small one. However, there are privacy and compliance issues that we have to work around and this is one of them. Setup a network using a non-default key and every node will be able to share their precise location
📚 Big update for the Meshtastic app: complete docs are now built right in, on both Android and iOS, available in the stores now.
Searchable, organized, and fully available off-grid, so you've got answers even when you're miles from a signal. And they auto-refresh with every app update, so you're never stuck with outdated info.
We've also got firmware 2.7.26 live in beta, packed with tons of new features and fixes. 🚀 Flash it to your nodes and tell us what you think!
"Never Gonna Give You Up!" ⚡️
We’re back from #republica2026 in Berlin! From sold-out @TheMeshtastic workshops to DIY solar-powered nodes, the energy for off-grid resilience was off the charts. 🛰️🌍

Modular @Meshtastic gateway HAT for the Raspberry Pi 4/5
https://t.co/WuU4cmaeiz
@RAKwireless WisMesh Pi HAT RAK6421 features two IO slots for WisBlock modules such as RAK13300 or RAK13302 (1W) LoRa modules, and four sensor slots.
The company provides a Linux OS image preloaded with meshtasticd (the Linux-native Meshtastic service) to enable always-on Meshtastic base stations, MQTT gateways, and backbone relay nodes.
Meshtastic will be at Ubuntu Summit 26.04! Our developer, Jonathan Bennet, will be speaking live from London on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 9:30 AM local time.
This year, the summit reflects the open-source community: fully decentralized. Whether you are at the venue or tuning in online, you can join Jonathan's session from anywhere in the world.
His topic will be "Hands-on Meshtastic," where he will share the history of the project, discuss open-source business and culture, and feature a live demo.

🌐 Meshtastic Gateway with M5Stack C6L — Bridge your LoRa mesh to the Internet with compact, solar-powered connectivity
Built by @ProfeTolocka with the #M5Stack#C6L, this project turns a @TheMeshtastic node into a Wi-Fi + LoRa gateway 📡, publishing mesh telemetry to an #MQTT broker for remote monitoring and dashboards 📊
🔹 Uses the dual-wireless power of the #ESP32C6 + SX1262 to connect both #Meshtastic and Wi-Fi 📶
🔹 Powered by 18650 batteries 🔋, a solar panel ☀️, and a solar power manager for off-grid deployment 🏕️
🔹 Publishes telemetry such as battery data to MQTT 📤, then visualizes it in #NodeRED 📈
🔹 A great example of extending local LoRa mesh networks 🌍 to Internet services for monitoring, logging, and automation 🤖

Check out the details and grab the firmware here: https://t.co/euPlhQkEX4
While you're exploring the event, be sure to drop by the Seeed and Rokland booths for all your Meshtastic hardware needs. Stick around, and you might just bump into a developer or two!
See you in Dayton! 📻
We extend an invitation to all engineers, makers, and developers to participate in the Meshtastic Build-Off 2026 competition, design your own hardware, and win prizes & awards.
💰$3000 in prize, solo or by team, 3 months of building, running Meshtastic in any shape, submit on github, challenge yourself.🫡
Hands-on skills involved include designing PCB layouts, installing RF modules, creating enclosures, and more.📡
This isn't another simple DIY project or hobby showcase. We hope when makers looking back, people could remember the time they actually made something, a moment when they stopped dreaming and started building.❤️
