@GalMarielena first of all, the director is not the employer, the director is also an employee. thinking Olivia Wilde has any power imbalance with Harry Styles is hilarious.
@Subaru_Tear@Pink_blonde_jin then google is wrong about that, but as you can see i wasn’t lying.
as for their album, i don’t think they care anymore, that album was half-assed garbage, except “jump”. you can see BPs star power by how well the individual members are doing, when they actually care to promote
@Subaru_Tear@Pink_blonde_jin i think they are. bts has more digital streams because they have multiple times more songs, and have been active for longer. i’m not trying to undermine bts at all, but i think blackpink is comparable. that’s not an insult. so we can agree to disagree.
@Subaru_Tear@Pink_blonde_jin i said blackpink has 8 top 40 on official uk singles chart, and bts has 12 top 40 on official uk singles chart. so i wasn’t lying about anything.
@Subaru_Tear@Pink_blonde_jin - differently boy and girl groups perform on different metrics. bts is the biggest korean boy group ever, and blackpink is the biggest korean girl group of all time. army is bigger, that’s for sure, but in terms of name recognition and overall success i think they’re comparable
@Subaru_Tear@Pink_blonde_jin i agree about charts in China, and i was wrong about the UK. however when i’m considering who’s bigger, it seems in China, the BP girls have higher name recognition, considering they seem to have a higher media value index. but i guess a lot of this boils down to how-
@Subaru_Tear@Pink_blonde_jin oh, you’re actually correct about UK singles charts. i’ve read outdated information. it’s 8 vs 12 top 40 hits. although considering the big difference in songs, i’d say blackpink is doing quite well there, but it’s undeniable bts has more hits in the uk. i was wrong there
@Jenovavich@54hrtz you weren’t engaging with anything i was saying. i was actually trying to have a conversation, you were coming in with unrelated screenshots.
