If you’re not a Christian, this of course doesn’t matter to you, but if you are a Christian, don’t let a terrible interpretation like Cruz’s convince you to support something you otherwise would not.
OK I basically only tweet about Survivor and sports on my podcast x account: @MichaelLikesPod BUT as a pastor, I really think I need to say this: Ted Cruz, this is terrible theology. If you are a Christian, do not buy into this idea (which Cruz can’t even explain coherently).

Alright: I get free speech is a constitutional right, but if you are anonymously voicing targeted hate speech and wearing symbols from the most vile and violent political party of the modern era, it seems like that should be illegal to do on the streets.
Today had to be a big Square Day at Lipscomb, right? That random Friday in January where its nice out and you skip class? Fellow Bison know what I’m talking about.
If the ball is inside the 1, there’s at least a chance for a safety. Taking a knee in a crowd with a defense bearing down doesn’t seem like a good plan - especially if you have to do it multiple times.
