Bwahah this article must be a joke! Yes, yes birth IS as important as your wedding day, or even more so! So now because women want to have the ability to be a part of the decision making process, they’re “birthzillas”? Stop it!

@SpinningBabies How funny I just made a post on this too.
Best tip is a cracker and water before you move anything in the morning. Movement on an empty stomach is a big culprit.
@cbssaturday@roxanasaberi 1 in 7 women suffer with PPD….how about we actually work on preventing it through support during the postpartum period, better maternal healthcare and less traumatic birth experiences instead of putting a damn bandaid on it. Wow

@PamBelluck How about we actually support women during the postpartum period instead of just giving them a pill? Here’s your baby and a pill now go home and don’t come back to see me for 6 more weeks! Doesn’t sound like great maternal health to me.

Another bandaid! Just keep putting people on meds to pretend like it’s not happening instead of actually fixing it.
1 in 7 women suffer with postpartum depression as one of the most birth complications. How about we work on how to prevent it? #postpartum#postpartumdepression
By now, we adults understand the importance of sleep. We are learning that you cannot put sleep on the backburner and expect optimum health, so we want to do better with our children now that we know better, right?
Here at The Wellness Company, we are all about PREVENTION. We believe that nature has given us the foundations of health for FREE. Sleep is one of those foundational habits that can make or break your overall health.
For some children, it is just this ONE lifestyle piece that is causing other issues, and resolving this can result in a brand-new kid!
We know that many people resort to a “summer sleep schedule” with their kids. Late nights and late morning sleep-ins, crazy schedules, and travel can all throw off our circadian rhythm. We recommend taking these next few weeks to slowly move them back to a regular schedule. Look up the amount of sleep required according to your child’s age and move their bedtime and wake-up time by 15 minutes every few days until they are back on track.
Avoiding sugar and liquids before bedtime will make for calm kids who sleep through the night.
Remember that blue light is very over stimulating for their little brains!
Routines like reading, aromatherapy and meditating and massages can be a great way to start the wind down!
Do you keep a regular bedtime routine all year round or are you getting ready to reign the kiddos back in? Tell us below! 👇
