With all this cyclists versus bikes here’s a thought. If it’s fair to demonise all cyclists for some who run red lights can I demonise all car drives who speed (many do) sneak through when the light has just gone red (many do)

@BrentToderian @carltonreid Just to be clear I do not condone law breaking by anyone. And I try to ride my bike just as I would drive my car eg queuing at traffic lights etc.

@Ethical_Roads There likely to be driven better than most ‘real’ drivers. Even better to have joined up public transport and safety for pedestrians, cyclists etc.

Recent research shows that in Low Traffic Neighbourhoods walking, cycling, & driving all became approximately 3-4 times safer per trip.

There was no evidence that injury numbers changed on boundary roads.
