I’m bi but my thing is i Don’t Date Men If I Can Help It. But I’ve enjoyed dating men in the past so I see myself as bi. Someone could be in a similar position but have had a very different experience dating men before. We can’t know what that experience is! Everyone’s different!

I agree with this tbh…. sexuality is amorphous and difficult to understand whereas A Sexuality Label is functional. You don’t need a word that communicates every single nuance you feel inside. You just need a word that describes how you approach the world

But my argument is this: your internal experience is full of nuance and confusion, and your label doesn’t need to broadcast all of this. Your label is how you tell people what you want. If they want further elaboration you can tell them all that later

I get that it’s hurtful to think somebody was having the same experience as you and then realize it was something completely unrelatable. I have been in the position of the simple fact of my sexuality really hurting somebody. Actually multiple times
