As our February initiative of Kiss Mono Goodbye comes to an end, our efforts to spread the word in order to find a vaccine for Epstein-Barr Virus are not stopping! An EBV vaccine could prevent infectious mononucleosis, MS, and many ebv-associated cancers. #mono#ebv#health
When diagnosed with mono you may experience some symptoms including sore throat, fever, headaches and others but the main symptom is fatigue. When mono strikes it’s crucial to make self care a priority and get a plentiful amount of rest to start feeling better. #mono#epsteinbarr
Besides causing mono, EBV is also a causative agent of several forms of cancer, including Burkitt lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. A vaccine would help prevent these types of EBV-associated cancers. ebv #mono#cancer#kissmonogoodbye#TheMonoProject
Mono is an illness worth preventing. Here is why we’ve spent nearly the past two decades developing a prophylactic EBV vaccine:

No better day than Valentine’s Day to #kissmonogoodbye! It’s crucial to remember mono is much more than a kissing disease. You can acquire mono from a multitude of places including coughing, sneezing, or by sharing a drink with someone who has mono.
This February, The Mono Project is aiming to #KissMonoGoodbye by raising awareness that mono is more than “the kissing disease." It impacts kids, college students, and even adults. Mono hurts and weakens those affected by it. Join us this February to help #KissMonoGoodbye. #EBV
