@IsaacElMago_ @CosmonautMarcus right. and in English, "want" can be "quiero un hamburguesa," but when you're talking about feelings, it's like "te deseo." entonces cuando estás aprendiendo español, te parece muy raro que una palabra que puede indicar "want" también puede decir "love/care" en otro contexto

@IsaacElMago_ @CosmonautMarcus understandable but also when your native language is English and you learn Spanish it's kinda wild that you tell your family you "want" them instead of that you "love" them, because in English when you "want" or "desire" someone it's always romantic and/or sexual

@hereticalgoat @jessicapancakes @1312press I think it’s an issue with how the sentence is structured, but also maybe, with respect, an issue of people assuming the collective voice is all cis? bc looking back at it the second clause is implying the first clause’s “trans people” are the “we” of “our bodies”, I think
