I’m 100% allocated to $MSTE.
Not because I think $MSTR volatility is something to fear — but because I think it can be harvested.
$MSTE gives me exposure to Strategy while actively monetizing that volatility through covered calls, turning it into something I care deeply about:
Cash flow.
Importantly, $MSTE isn’t writing covered calls against the entire portfolio. Roughly 30–40% of the portfolio is typically covered by calls, leaving the rest with more direct participation in $MSTR’s upside.
The tradeoff is simple: covered calls can cap some upside on the portion of the portfolio they’re written against. I’m comfortable with that.
I still get meaningful exposure to $MSTR’s upside, while part of that volatility gets converted into monthly distributions.
My framework:
• Stay heavily exposed to $MSTR through $MSTE
• Harvest volatility by writing covered calls on roughly 30–40% of the portfolio
• Keep the remaining exposure positioned to participate more fully in upside
• Collect monthly cash distributions
• Reinvest that cash flow strategically
• Accept some capped upside in exchange for income today
I’m not trying to capture every dollar of every $MSTR rally.
I’m building a portfolio designed to generate cash flow while staying exposed to the asset I have the highest conviction in.
Upside is great.
Cash flow is king.
I’ll use this account to document my $MSTE journey, distributions received, reinvestments, portfolio evolution, and what I learn along the way.
Not financial advice. Just my playbook.
Last year I went all-in on $MSTR when it was 240$. Needless to say, I lost around 60% of my money. In hindsight, even though I understood the model I overestimated it's floor even if mNAV had already compressed to 1.2. But I'm still here and very excited for what's to come. $BTC

@Durkabomb@Thedumbgreek@JoeCarlasare Hey, I'm not pushing back or anything. I remain neutral in all of this, I'm just trying to tell you it is no suprise that this attitude will trigger people
@Durkabomb@Thedumbgreek@JoeCarlasare To be fair, your tone came out as overlyconfident and Joe was questioning why you weren't excited for BTC anymore. And you told us, but it didn't register for some. You were used to 10 to 20x moves. BTC for you is the grandpa
@marc02200 If he was advised to invest what he's comfortable losing, i'd say enjoy the ride buddy. It takes a lot of conviction not to pull of your winnings.
