Love doesn't end in a breakup. it ends in the small, ordinary moments where you choose not to call. where you stop telling them your good news. where you hear a song and don't send it. love ends quietly, long before goodbye.
Red flags in your own home:
🚩Fajr is missed but alarms are set for work
🚩Quran is untouched, phones are nonstop
🚩Anger is louder than dhikr
🚩Backbiting flows easily but dua is rare
🚩Salah is rushed or skipped
🚩Food is plenty but no one says Bismillah
🚩Argument is common but saying Salam isn’t
🚩Constant stress and no tawakkul
A home loses barakah not from poverty but when Allah is forgotten inside it.
im not angry that you didn't choose me. im angry that you pretended you wanted me. you made me fall for you, then walked away like i never mattered. you gave me attention disqusted as love. you gave me hope without commitment. and maybe thats what hurts the most.
Hurting her while she was battling anxiety, financial stress, and family issues… and still expecting her to show up perfectly for you. That’s when you failed as a man.
Allah will never make you pray for something that was never meant for you. May be that's why the dua itself is already a sign, because if He placed it in your heart to ask, it means He is already planing to give it to you, just in His perfect time.
Stop calling it ‘love’ when it’s really just convenience with good chemistry. Real love shows up when it’s inconvenient…when you’re tired, when you’re broke, when the feelings have gone quiet and all that’s left is the choice. Anybody can love you on a good day.
The one who stays consistent on the boring days, the slow days, the days nothing exciting is happening. That is who you build with. Stop chasing excitement. Start chasing consistency.
Be guided.
Sometimes I miss the person I used to be. A person who laughed so easily, who didn't overthink every little thing, who had so much excitement for life and so many dreams waiting to accomplish. I miss how freely I used to feel things before life became so heavy all the time. And I don't know exactly when it changed. Maybe life happened. Maybe people changed me a little. Maybe I just grew up too fast. But some nights I think about the old version of me and wonder if they would even recognise the person I've become now.
Stop sending long paragraphs & messages explaining how you feel, just don't say anything.
I've learned that it doesn't matter what you say, if they don't care they just don't. And nothing you say will change that. Keep your guard up. Don't waste your time & energy.
What hurt me the most was seeing this person was capable of meeting the expectations I had, they just chose not to do it for me. They met those same expectations for other people though.
overthinking... is one of the cruelest prisons because nothing is actually happening... yet your mind acts like the world is ending. u replay conversations that are already over. u prepare for arguments that never happen. u create problems tomorrow hasn't even delivered yet. eventually u realize the person exhausting u the most isn't your boss, your ex, or your bills... it's the voice in your own head that never learned how to be quiet. peace begins the moment u stop believing every thought deserves your attention.
i will never explain my side again. you find that it was all my fault? then be it, i accept it. i'm done with explaining my side. i don't want to feel like i'm begging to be understood. never again.
