@Datapleaz@markgLSU@Tarek_Fattal College baseball has the exact same rules about leaving the bench during a fracas. There's no reason these kids should have had that drilled into their heads by there coaches.
Not saying I'm late to the joke but sitting on the toilet I just discovered why it was such a big deal for Bleeding Gums Murphy to break those Fabergé eggs.
Only 69 were ever made and only 61 still exist today.
More smooth brains like Seth McClung who don't realize the NCAA has very strict and clearly defined rules for moments that require an immediate ejection.
If umpires don't enforce the rules, they'll get a bad performance review.
More soft umpires like Kevin Ferrelli.
Seriously, I’m all for acting right and being respectful. But there has to be more to this story. It looks bad on old blue here. Watch the whole video to see everything
This is why I'm always a generous tipper when I drag myself out to the our Husker watch site. You always want the servers and bartenders happy to be hosting a Husker game day.
My waitress at a sports bar in Bricktown just told me that when Nebraska Basketball fans came to OKC, they tipped her enough in four days to cover two months of her rent.
“That week turned me into a Nebraska fan.”
Oklahoma City belongs to Nebraska fans.
MLB Teams lost $1.8 Billion in 2025. That’s $60M per Club. By comparison? NFL Teams averaged $151M in operating profit last season.
Points to how unrealistic the MLBPA opening proposal was for Owners.
In seeing the proposal, I’m now more concerned we’ll have a lockout.
@D_Frank34 Whatever you do, be careful when you take your sample. You just might give yourself pink eye in the process.
(Not that I ever did that or anything.)
@isednom@undercoverags A college umpire friend is convinced that college pitchers are going to be melting down when they don't get the calls they're used to getting
@AllAubarn@AdamStensonACS Umpires are all levels of college though are encouraged to have larger strike zones due to college pitching as a whole not being good enough to handle an MLB strike zone. There's a reason why MLB doesn't start using ABS until the AA level.
SCOOP: The @NCAA Baseball Rules Committee has approved the @SEC's proposal to use experimental ABS (Automated Ball-Strike) Challenges in the upcoming conference tournament, I'm told. Coaches will have (3) specific ABS challenges per game in Hoover.
@FeitCanWrite@huskerfan4life9@USC1620 The biggest challenge MLB guys have had is that they're basically forced to guess what 53.5% and 27% of a player's height is as the step into the box. MLB didn't send out a memo of everyone's new strike zones so the first time umps see a batter can be an adventure.
@FeitCanWrite@huskerfan4life9@USC1620 Back in December I got invited to umpire a live BP workout down in SD with local college/pro players. It was my first time seeing 90+ pitching and going toe-to-toe with a Trackman. I was surprisingly not bad but the margins are razor thin and the catchers are magicians.
