@Mossworm1 Yes, this is how multi-layer prints are made! You carve a base block, known as the registration, then carve the different color layers on separate blocks of the same size using the registration as reference.

The Beast, the third print for my Creature Series. Legend has it that a beast lurks at the edge of the Forest, guarding the rocky ruins of its home.

Done for a relief printmaking class in 2021. Carved woodblock using chine colle technique for the color. I was inspired by the image of Japanese beetles swarming my dad's peach trees.
