Mount Vernon lit up the scoreboard with two-out six-run rally in the fifth inning. The Mustangs advance past Dike-New Hartford 7-0 to keep their season alive.

Mount Vernon will play Center Point-Urbana in a rematch of last year's regional, a game the Mustangs lost at home.

After a tough sprint medley DQ to start the day, Cali (also 7th in 100) and Evelyn won state titles in the 200 (24.44) and 1500 (4:28.07) to help bring a state championship back to Mount Vernon! Both were new school record times. This team showed incredible heart today. So proud!
