RUNNING HEAVY AGENTIC WORKFLOWS OVERHEATS LAPTOPS AND DRAINS PORTABLE BATTERIES.
Beam(.)win launched a tool running AI agents on a headless Mac while streaming windows to your laptop. Offloading local computation frees mobile machines from noisy fans.
ANTHROPIC 🔥: According to The Information, Anthropic will release a new model this month, along with Gemini 4 Carbon and a new Terra model from OpenAI.
> "The unreleased model is especially good at discerning a person’s underlying intentions and goals even if they don’t give the model much information."
> "The Anthropic model is also better at thinking outside of the box rather than regurgitating common sense advice or solutions."
> "It’s not clear which model family Anthropic will fall into, such as Fable or Opus."
Thinking outside of the box is a huge limitation these days. If we get a model that can do it reliably, we'll be properly transitioning into the "Innovators" stage.
The line about "discerning underlying intentions" is a bit scary, though, given all the guardrails.
ANTHROPIC is preparing for a future where AI AGENTS negotiate against each other
As it explores legal rules and digital signatures, tests show Claude Opus quietly outplays Haiku without users noticing. Model upgrades beat "ruthless" prompts, and agents must balance trust with scam detection.
ANTHROPIC 🔥: Personal Finance feature on Claude is being prepared for the upcoming release (again)!
> Personal Finance will work through Plaid integration.
> Claude will be able to analyse user’s bank data and build various dashboards on top of it.
> During development, this feature was named as “Claude Money” but has been renamed in the latest update.
> Given the new onboarding screen and an addition of Plaid integration logic, there is a high chance we would hear about it relatively soon.
“Claude Monet” would indeed be an epic name for this.
Soon? 👀
