@adventistchurch Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
I'm sorry but there's zero reason to pierce the ears of literal babies
Just because babies cry a lot doesn't mean that their pain is any less real or meaningful, why not just wait until they're old enough to decide for themselves?
Your kids aren't Barbie dolls
As the New Year unfolds, there really is just one thing to be obsessed about: loving God and people! Everything else is, quite literally, nothing by comparison. Hold no grudges, keep no scores, manipulate nobody's emotions, tell no lies. Look into people's eyes and pay attention when they are talking to you. Be kind and courteous to strangers. Never ever violate a child. Be generous, not stingy. Do not say everything that pops into your noggin. Force nobody into anything. Give, give, give, and forgive. Tell people pleasant things about them that you've noticed. Give gifts. Blow kisses, but not to random people. Totally quit complaining about things. Reach out to someone you haven't connected with in a while and remind them how much you like them. Buy somebody some flowers. Notice somebody in need and give them some cash. Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. This is the whole point of existence. #HappyNewYear
@abarefootmomma 6 hours or a lifetime… it’s still your baby girl’s life 🩷 you did good, mumma. You gave your baby ultimate, unconditional love 🩷 As a first time mumma of an 11 month old, I cannot imagine the unbearable pain you must feel. My heart bleeds for you 😔 🕊️

I am humbled by her grace, and strength of character.
Following recent news of a BABY being attacked in WA (& let’s not forget the incident in the park in Brisbane) 😤 … As a mum of an almost 1-year-old, this got me thinking:
WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH OUR PUBLIC SPACES?

There are no words to describe my admiration for this woman's bravery. After repeated, unimaginable betrayal and violation she faces down the men who counted on her being supine and silent forever. She has reclaimed her power in the most astonishing way.
