Last night @thenbyg invited all RUTHERFORD COUNTY Principals to join us at TRUE NORTH to be prayed over by the students from their respective schools. This is a tradition in its 9th year. Congrats to Larry Creasy from @SiegelHighStars for taking home the coveted “PRINCIPAL’S CUP”

I want to thank @thenbyg for dinner and the @SiegelHighStars students that attend TRUE NORTH for praying over me and our school. @SiegelHighStars captured The Principal’s Cup this year.

We end each trip w/a debriefing in Central Park answering questions like:

1. What is one thing you’ll never see the same way again?

2. What conversation changed you the most?

3. What will be different about you for the next 51 weeks because of this 1?

Worship spontaneously broke out at lunch. I don’t remember this ever happening before.

It started because two girls at one table started singing trying to remember the words to a song we had learned…and soon spread to the next table…then the whole dining hall.

Friendship bracelets in the Arts and Crafts Cabin is always a hit.

LizMarie and I set a SHILOH WORLD RECORD today in “World Records Class”.

“Longest Continuous Business Like Handshake While Maintaining Eye Contact”.

Previous record: 5 minutes 20 seconds.
