Happy New Year! 2024 is here & it's time to get to work.
We are pleased to announce that we are working towards launching a flag football initiative in the area, offering non-contact, flag football from U11 through to U17, creating an accessible entry for children in the region!

[North East Academy @theneaaf]

Work is going on behind the scenes and we'll post more information very soon on how to get involved or register your interest, but this is a huge step forward for Academy level football and we are hopeful of a huge impact when it launches! Lets go!

The eagles have one final game, facing a Division I team for the first time with a road trip to Wagner College on November 18th.

We wish Aden and the Eagles the best of luck!

[North East Academy @theneaaf]

We checked in this week with former Giant, Aden Caine, who joined @GoPostEagles this past season as a freshman kicker in NCAA Division II.
Coming through the Giants Youth and Junior setups, Aden headed to BUCS with Leeds Beckett before heading to the States to join the PU Eagles

[North East Academy @theneaaf]

Taking #37 he played his part in a
historic first win for PU over Franklin Pierce last month, kicking a field goal to open the scoring.

It's unbelievable to see one of our guys over the water and continuing to develop their football career.

[North East Academy @theneaaf]

Team Scotland faced off against @filtonpride last Sunday and yet again 2 Giants players faced off against each other. Tom Hambleton captained the Scotland team, and lined up against Dwight Davies representing Bristol Academy.
Great to see!
Well done lads.

[North East Academy @theneaaf]

Shout out to Haz Gilroy and Tom Hambleton from the Giants who took part in the recent GB U19 v Scotland U19 game in Edinburgh. A great opportunity to get additional reps and show what they could do!

[North East Academy @theneaaf]

A fantastic year for the Giants U19s and one that is fully down to the hard work of our players, coaches and parents - recognition
like this is down to all your hard work, thank you.

Good luck to the other teams nominated and congratulations to you all on your seasons 🙏

[North East Academy @theneaaf]

We are delighted that the North East Academy Giants U19s have been listed as finalists in the @SceneUk Junior Team of the Year awards. Recognition is always appreciated, but even moreso when it's from your peers..
