Ran with a college woman today who said our first mile felt so good. We ran 7:50. Her 1st mile of her runs were typically 7:00 and felt bad. Runners: Itโs ok to start runs easy, ask why you are running a certain pace, ask your friend to slow down and have a purpose for each run.
Fave moment of the Olympics so far. Barshim (Qatar) and Tamberi (Italy) were tied in the high-jump final. The official is there talking about a prospective jump-off, but Barshim asks immediately: "Can we have two golds?" One look, no words exchanged, they know they're sharing it.
