Remember, the anti lockdown protest was far right, and racists
The housing and cost of living protests far right and racist.
The anti abortion far right and racist.
Now, the farmers and truckers far right and racist.
Hmm seems like if u go against the regime far right racist
Mr Byrne, don’t you dare blame protesters for what has been done to my daughter.
The people who put my daughter’s healthcare at risk were not on the roads today. It was the HSE, backed by years of failure from Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael.
It is not protesters stopping me from getting to Dublin. The irony is that the truckers you want to point the finger at are actually the ones helping me get through.
So spare me the lectures and the fake outrage. My daughter’s health was not endangered by ordinary people standing up for themselves. It was endangered by a broken system, a useless government, and years of being ignored while she suffered.
Before you start blaming anyone else, look in the mirror. Because the real obstruction, the real danger, and the real disgrace is the way this country has failed my daughter again and again.
This is a must read from @davidmcw “Is Ireland the worst run country in Europe?”
The figures in this article are mind blowing . No accountability in the Senior echelons of Public Service. No wonder people are angry. #fuelprotests
The ‘Fuel Crisis’ in Ireland is not just that.
The fuel is a symptom far down the road of the actual problem.
The govt has massively over promised the EU in regards to immigration, climate goals, and energy costs.
To reach those targets they are taxing the life out of every Irish person in every single area from income, to VAT, to VRT, to inheritance tax etc.
They have promised themselves into a corner bending over backwards for foreigners at the expense of Irish people.
They cannot reduce the taxes without a MASSIVE knock on effect in every other area.
The EU will punish Ireland for not meeting arbitrary goals and the govt relies on taxes to buy off the EU pressure.
We need an overhaul of the entire way we are governed on this island of OURS.
- Foreigners out
- Social Welfare removed from non Irish people.
- Limit to EU interference (ideally leave the EU)
- Abolish 90% of NGOs
- Change of leadership and stakeholder control
Ireland has more problems than the cost of fuel - but if that’s the issue that gets us going - long may it last.
