It would need either some interior columns or load bearing walls to hold up that roof.

The Palika Kendra building. Designed by Mahendra Raj– and Kuldip Singh and built in 1984, this building was one of the tallest buildings in the Indian capital in very recently.

Sleeping under a bridge is already uncomfortable but now made impossible in this design.
