When someone uses phrases “I feel”, “my truth”, or “speak their truth” you may want to evaluate if you are being manipulated.
These phrases are a tactic to shut down debate.
Do not submit, retort w/ a calm statement of facts. How they want to process those facts is up to them.
New Video! I discuss the article on @bariweiss substack by Paul Rossi, a teacher at Grace Church High School in Manhattan, and how propaganda is being used to implement an anti-racist curriculum.

@MarkStipic@realalexclark Depending on how you have your ads set up it can. Because the ad doesn’t get an impression. At that point you balance user experience with $. Many bloggers, like myself, try to stay away from stories and provide relevant info. Like tips & answer common questions for the recipe.
@realalexclark Like any small business a blog can have overhead costs. Such as site design, site management (security, backup, tech support, etc.), hosting fees, software, food, equipment (computer, cameras, etc.), props, and I even have an virtual assistant.
@realalexclark I am a food blogger with 5+ styled photos & post with 600-1000 word count. First the recipe is free to you. It cost me money to manage the site and provide the content. And for it to rank so you can find it I have to follow the Google gods requirements. So you are welcome. 😏
@Missymouser Many people don’t. Like any small business a blog can have overhead costs. Site design, site management (security, backup, tech support, etc.), hosting fees, software, food, equipment (computer, cameras, etc.), props, and I even have an virtual assistant.
@realalexclark Most blog are small businesses, like mine. In order to generate revenue so my content can remain free I have to create space for ads & I have to make sure it shows up in Google. It’s not going to stop anytime soon. You can scroll or you can buy a cookbook. 😉
