@jtimsuggs “Somehow Palpatine survived” is one of the laziest lines in the history of cinema, and yet Rise of Skywalker could have risen above it if it weren’t for the fact the rest of the movie is just as lazy. Just accept it: the sequel trilogy is a narrative abomination.

@XDarthThunderX No, no, no. You’re completely ignoring Vader’s redemption arc. He was old Anakin when he rejected the Dark Side. Assuming he “died” when he became Vader, he “resurrected” when he became Anakin again. So old Anakin should be the Force ghost. End of story.
