Glue traps don't just catch mice. They catch whatever walks across them. Don't use them.

Wildlife rehabbers document birds, lizards, snakes, and bats coming in stuck to glue traps every season, found in garages and barns by people who had no idea. Whatever lands on one dies slowly. And that's true of the mouse too. All around, it's inhumane.

A live trap with a dab of peanut butter costs four dollars. Check it daily, drive the mouse at least a mile out, and release it. Owls and hawks will take care of the rest.

Then figure out how the mouse got in, seal up any entrances, and lock away any food.

The UK banned glue traps for general sale in 2022. You can just stop buying them.
