A brilliant day for Nottinghamshire golf. Our Under 18 team beat 9 other counties to win the Midland Qualifier, and will compete in the England Golf County Championships at @GoswickGolfClub in August. A fantastic achievement, well done to all 6 boys.

Nottinghamshire Golf Union hosted a successful 4 Counties tournament @CoxmoorGC on Wednesday and Thursday. Our Under 18's played well, winning 2 out of 3 matches, finishing 3rd on countback. Congratulations to @CheshireGolfLtd on their victory.

Congratulations to our Under 16s on their 2nd place finish in the 10 team Midland County Cup today, 3 strokes behind the winners. Theo Nelson won the individual event with an excellent 1 under par 70 in difficult conditions. Well played Theo.

The winner of the Scratch Salver at yesterday's Henderson Trophy was Theo Nelson (Coxmoor), who capped off a fantastic year with an excellent 71. Well done, Theo!

The Henderson Trophy is our final Strokeplay event and was played yesterday at its traditional home, the beautiful Wollaton Park. The winner of the net prize with an excellent 67 was Zak Harrison. Congratulations Zak.

Our boys achieved a very creditable 3rd place (out of 10) in the Midland Golf Union Under 14 Team Championship yesterday. Great camaraderie and promise for the future. Congratulations to Staffordshire on their victory.

We are delighted to report that two of our junior golfers are the 2025 Club Champions at two of Nottinghamshire's prestigious clubs. Harry Banner is Club Champion at Sherwood Forest, and Theo Nelson is Club Champion at Coxmoor. A great day for the County Juniors!

Nottinghamshire achieved a creditable 2nd place in the County Championship Midland Qualifiing at Droitwich last Saturday. Leicestershire were the very worthy winners.

Congratulations to Jacob Smith (Sherwood Forest), the 2025 Notts Matchplay Champion. Jacob defeated his club colleague Dean Reddington at the 1st extra hole at Hollinwell today.
