@virginmedia At the moment I have split my networks, increased security back to max NOT minimum (which the Connect app did) and turned off the pod. I’ll see what forums suggest later, too frustrated with it all to be honest, I left @skytv cos of their mesh network requirements

@virginmedia I really hate your wifi max service. Your pods are a pain and I don’t want to combine both my networks into 1, for one my phone drops video calls when swapping from 5ghz to 2.4ghz and 2 if not connected to 5ghz then my game streaming won’t work.

@virginmedia The pod was on when I ran the test, even tho no devices were connected to it and all were connected to the router, that’s what the Connect app says

@virginmedia Combined network gives me link speed of 65 Mbps, separated I get on same device in same place a link speed of 690 Mbps when connected to 5ghz, so yeah Optimized One network is obviously not better. Also device is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, which makes unusable

@virginmedia Bands in my area, which in turn I notice speed drops. Also setting it to auto it sets security to WPA2 not WPA3, which u will know the one it sets to is the less secure way of doing things. Also the advice on that blog regarding moving the router is not practical for my
