@jstanotherview "evidence is very slow to transform core beliefs". Wow, excellent thought. Do you think core beliefs can ever really be changed? In my experience they're just pushed to the farther recesses of the mind, but they always worm their way back somehow.

@visakanv I agree, younger demographic decides what's popular -> corporations make allowances for profit -> media shift. I feel like early hip hop (NWA comes to mind) was a good example
