Meet University of Cape Coast (UCC) graduate, Douglas Psei Tebi, who ventured into farming with just GHS 7,000 after completing his national service and now earns about GHS 90,000 a month.
Douglas said he was able to raise his startup capital through part-time painting jobs, selling summer shorts on campus, and saving a portion of his national service allowance.
He recounted that there was a point he almost gave up after experiencing some setbacks in farming, and someone even advised him to abandon the venture and pursue a corporate job instead.
