Well done to Grace McNally, 3rd year General Nursing @tcddublin student, who travelled to Lourdes this September as part of @theoblates nursing team.
Grace was the first recipient of the Kevin McConway Bursary, set up to support nursing students to travel to Lourdes and assist pilgrims. Barry McBrien (lecturer) and Grace were part of the nursing team within the Oblate pilgrimage group.
Thanks to @barry_mcbrien and Dr Aileen Lynch for their work on this initiative.
We regret to announce the death of Fr. Tony Quinlan OMI on Saturday, August 16th, 2025. Fr Tony died peacefully at St. James' Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. May Fr Tonyโs gentle soul rest in the eternal peace of Christ. Ar Dheis Dรฉ go raibh a anam dรญlis.
Today we rejoice as we celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Maryโs life reminds us that saying โyesโ to God leads to joy beyond imagining. As we honour her today, let us ask: Mary, assumed into Heaven, lead us closer to your Son. Amen.
