I would plead the Fifth if I had terrorist ICE Nazi agents at my car window, and I’m an honest person and a great, law-abiding, peaceful American citizen. Along with my Fourth Amendment right to demand their “probable cause” for stopping me, and my Sixth Amendment right to an attorney.
Q: What doesn't let you sleep at night?
SIKORSKI: Russia's unpredictability. Sick man with a gun is still man with a gun. That's why we are spending so much on defense, to convince Putin that conflict with Poland would cost him even more dearly than his criminal war vs Ukraine.
California just became the first major grid system on the planet to generate more than 50% of its electricity from solar across an entire month.
Battery costs are falling rapidly, and utility-scale solar is among the cheapest sources of new power in the US.
Solar is the future.
It takes me 2.5 minutes to explain why it’s a lie that we gave all the weapons to Ukraine that we needed for Iran.
But the lie can be said in one sentence. We’re at a disadvantage when reality is nuanced.
But the truth is essential
Thank you Sen. Merkley, for the strong support for Ukraine. Today the Senate voted (incl. Sen. Merkley) 86 - 12 on the procedural vote to advance the Graham Sanctioning Russia Act of 2026. It means the final passage is probably this week, and puts pressure on the House to pass it in early September.
It is amazing how Ukraine has turned the momentum within Russia, eliminating Russia's ""strategic rear. But every day Putin commits genocide against Ukrainians with missile strikes. Push Congress and the U.S. to support Ukraine more, with anti-ballistic defenses. End the killing. (Ukraine only strikes things, not people).
We have completely eliminated the very idea of Russia having a strategic rear.
For a long time, Russia believed it had a territorial advantage no one else possEssed – a deep rear where it could safely keep military production, military equipment, and everything its war depends on, believing no one could reach them.
We have reached them. Just yesterday, Ukrainian drones broke-through Russia’s defenses and struck a Russian oil-refinery in Siberia. This is not an exception. It is the new reality. There is no major oil-refinery left in Russia that has not been struck by Ukraine.
From a speech at the NATO Defense Industry Forum. (3/5)
Over this past week, Russia used around 2,200 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 1,730 guided aerial bombs, and 106 missiles of various types, nearly half of them ballistic. Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, as well as our border and frontline communities, are under fire almost every day. There was a massive strike on Kyiv that claimed the lives of 31 people and injured another 102, including four children. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Every day, we must protect lives from these attacks. We already have the capabilities to effectively shoot down more than 90% of drones, but, unfortunately, not all ballistic missiles are intercepted. And it is ballistic missiles that Moscow is now leaning on to continue its war. And every day, we are working to strengthen air defense for Ukraine: through PURL and through our bilateral contacts with countries that have not joined PURL but do have the missiles we so urgently need. We are also strengthening our air defense through joint work with Europeans on anti-ballistic capabilities. We need answers from our partners to our requests for air defense. Every package of interceptor missiles provides real protection for lives. I thank all leaders who are finding ways to help in this particular area.
i’m sorry for what you discovered. There are thousands of Ukrainians and Americans still working hard for your country and paying attention, such as the American Coalition for Ukraine, which contains hundreds of pro-Ukraine groups. In April, we lobbied Congress in D.C., and got the House to pass the Ukraine Support Act. I read the news of your country every day. Take heart, Rima. 70% of Americans, in polls, still want America to support Ukraine more. I reposted your message on my socials.
@SSManalysis@rima_medUA you do not speak for the 70% plus Americans who care deeply about Ukraine and want our government to give more support. You are callous and brainwashed and we will all be praying for you.
The Ukraine war has now gone on longer than World War I, and approaching 4 1/2 years. Please pay attention to America. Ukrainians are murdered every day by drone & missile strikes. there are many ways and sources to be involved, such as American Coalition for Ukraine, https://t.co/eSi14MEDpD and many ways to give support for medical and fighting supplies.
While I was briefly back in the US, I was disheartened by how many would say "oh is that still going on?" when referring to the war in Ukraine.
It was incredibly frustrating for me especially as an active duty medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At that point its just willful ignorance. Everyone has a cellphone, laptop, tablet, etc. Information is literally at your finger tips. But instead of informing oneself properly, the choice seems to be watching AI slop, mainstream media, and other short attention span apps.
The was is not over, it has not slowed down, we are still working and fighting for freedom in Ukraine, the frontline is still 1000 km long, civilians are still being killed by r*ssia every day. We can only go so far to inform you. The rest is up to you. Up to date sources, @KyivIndependent@KyivPost@saintjavelin@U24_gov_ua
Stay informed and inform others.
This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.
