A Statement From Rep. Mavin โI congratulate and welcome two new members Sythsworth and Tahjdontwashcars into the House of Representatives. I look forward to working together and further creating a strong foundation in Congress.โ
โI also do not support the foolish trying to vacate the Speaker of the House. I ask my colleagues to address the issues that are of importance and not this mess.โ
A Statement from Rep.Mavin โI do not support any impeachment threats against the President. I unequivocally believe the President has not broken any laws nor do I believe this should be the focus of the House.โ 1/2
โI cannot believe the decisions of such House Members and condemn them. There are more important matters awaiting the House floor. Once again the focus is taken away from issues that need to be addressed.โ
โInstead we move to have a State of the Union address tomorrow, well I applaud having one. The issues at hand are placed on hold and the work for the American people isnโt progressing.โ
A Statement By Rep. Mavin
โIโm disappointed we couldnโt have a legislative session today instead a second pro forma session in a row. Another day without any progression for the District Courts and another day without progression and accountability that Americans deserve.โ 1/2
Rep. Mavin speaking on the DOJ โOver recent weeks concerns about how the DOJ has conducted and failed to uphold federal law has reached a critical point. I feel this select committee will investigate the issues that have plagued the DOJ over recent time.โ
DEVELOPING: Rep. Mavin confirmed to us this morning that he will in-fact introduce articles of impeachment against Judge. Heโs also confirmed he submitted a resolution to create a select committee to investigate the Department of Justice and its alleged misconduct.
Speaking on the District Judgeโs Inactivity โI urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to pass this resolution today. We cannot let this destructive behavior continue and further damage the District Courts. My hope is we can provide new legislation in the coming weeks.โ
Rep. Mavin publicly thanks the House for unanimously voting to appoint Andrew Mavin at Sundayโs session. Rep. Mavin also thanks the Speaker and House Majority Leader for their continues support.
