I’m Stranded in Lagos guys
I Need Your Support 🙏
Hi, my name is Esther Ubak. I came all the way from Akwa Ibom State to Lagos for an exhibition, full of hope and excitement, dreaming that this trip would open doors for my craft and creativity.
I’m a startup without funding anywhere, and to make this trip possible, I had to borrow money from friends, gather materials, and cover my travel expenses, all with the hope that the exhibition would be a success.
But things didn’t turn out as I expected. The exhibition didn’t go as planned, and now, I’m faced with the reality of having to refund every single amount I borrowed.
I really need the support I can get right now.
So here I am, still in Ajah, Lagos, with all the beautiful, handcrafted, upcycled pieces I brought along. I cannot go back home until they are sold, and every piece carries the love, time, and creativity I poured into it.
Below this post are the products available for pickup, each with its price tag clearly displayed.
So If you’re in Lagos and love unique art, this is your chance to grab something special.
📍 Location: Ajah, Lagos
📲 To order: Screenshot your favorite piece(s) and DM me on WhatsApp: +2347080501180
If you can’t afford a piece right now, you can still share this post, refer a friend, or invite someone who might love them. Your support, big or small really means the world and can help turn this setback into a blessing. 🙏
I mistakenly sent 2,300 naira for a product instead of 23,000 naira this afternoon to a vendor at his shop. What’s funny is that I left the shop without the seller noticing, and I didn’t realize it myself until tonight. I had been busy editing since I got home and hadn't needed to make any transfers until I went to buy data.
I noticed I had extra cash, even though I thought I’d spent 23,000 Naira earlier. Knowing that money doesn't just appear in my account out of nowhere only when I’m being paid for a job, I checked my transactions and saw the 2,300 Naira. I realized then that I hadn't fully paid for the product.
I rushed back to the shop immediately not long ago to see if the person was still there. I found him and explained what happened. He had already noticed the error, and I could see the joy on his face seeing me return.. he was so happy he even offered to buy me a drink. Imagine if I were the type to just see it as “Luck”… the seller would have lost that money.
I’m so happy I returned to complete my payment.
@Shola_dlb@q_mesioye Three times conductors have forgotten to collect fare from me, three times, I give them just as I'm alighting.
Money will end in this world.
A few weeks ago someone gave my husband moose meat
(Yeah google moose to see what the animal looks like).
Man brought it home and said we should try it. I told him there was no way my Nigerian tongue would caught near moose meat.
My husband decided to make stew with it. When he started frying it, I nearly puked. It had this distinct flavour that was so alien
For days I did not even want to use the same pot to cook.
So we just dumped it in the freezer. Oga kept begging me to cook moose meat. I said “nahhh fam”
Weirdly, my husband loved it and kept cooking it for himself. Another time he made stew and put his moose in one corner of the pot while I ate my regular chicken.
One tiny piece of moose found it’s way on top my rice. This time, it did not taste or smell as bad
Another time, another piece of moose entered my plate. Not only did it not taste bad, it actually tasted beefy to me
My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, guess who went to the freezer to use the remaining moose to make stew some days ago?
Yup, me!
And this is my way of reminding you dear child of God that when you keep allowing things that you know don’t please God around you, you’ll be amazed at how much you can adjust to start doing things you swore you would never do
Like me, you can go from being nauseated by moose meat one day and using it to make stew the next.
The command is to “flee”
Not adjust
Not tolerate
Not say cook your own one side and let me cook on the other side
The Bible says flee
Your no stronger than Samson o
Blessings!

So, I lost my watch at an event once. An hour later I saw some man stepping on it as he was harassing a girl there. I was so angry, I waked over and slapped him across the face and called security. No one does that to a woman, not on my watch.
