@MikeAduddell I told my wife about this exchange and she (who might be a little high) said that some Americans are “over-bese” because of our available food choices.
@MikeAduddell That’s absolutely a fair statement. I am also a HUGE proponent of living in other countries if possible. Minds are opened through exposure to other cultures. Having lived in Asia and Eastern Europe, I can attest to the nutritional superiority of those areas.
@MikeAduddell As a fitness coach, I try to talk about breaking from the “American” diet as to my athletes as often as they will allow. I never gave this a 2nd thought until I began my fitness journey. Keep spreading the word Mike.
@JasonIsbell Jason Isbell: you are an American treasure. Even though America has some shitty aspects, you are one of the best of us. I appreciate you and your grounded, honest take.
@SheaSerrano How do you reconcile the ridiculous political climate of Texas with your love of Texas. As a South Carolina native, I wrestle with that constantly. Haven’t figured it out yet, but I can’t live there and definitely don’t want my kids/grandkids to live there.
@TrackCoachEvans Coach, congratulations on retirement. While my son Mason was not an ideal student athlete, he did learn a lot from you. Appreciate your coaching, teaching and efforts to help shape him as a young person. I always felt like he was in good hands with you and Tommy Nash. Best wishes
