In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Vigilant citizens trooped to the INEC collation centre in Osogbo 2:00am to watch the process and protect their votes. This is democracy in action. When citizens stay engaged and vigilant beyond the polling unit, democracy becomes stronger.

@TheIfunanya Just to add my two cents.
Giving people your used clothes/items that they don't need feels like dumping on the side of the recipient.
However, the recipient should have responded more courteously.
The solution is to allow them select what they need and return the rest.

“At Inter Milan, I told my coach, ‘I want to party in Paris. I’ll score a first-half hat-trick—just make sure the team defends after I leave.’ 😂 By the 38th minute, I’d scored three, got subbed off, and went straight to the airport. ✈️😭”

For 4 years, I was dependent on Loratadine. I think it was the closest I’ve ever come to understanding what people mean when they talk about being dependent on a drug.
This year, things got worse.
My nose would get completely blocked and I would struggle to breathe properly. I stopped drinking cold water because I thought maybe that was the problem. 😂 (It did not work. 😭)
I can’t sit under an AC for too long because that’s looking for trouble. I can’t sit directly opposite a fan because that’s an invitation for trouble. If someone is wearing strong perfume near me, trouble and sometimes even mild perfume can be disturbing. And my right eye will get red too because water will be dropping from my right eye.
On some days, I couldn’t even point to what exactly was irritating my nose😭.
I did my research and stumbled on something called Non-Allergic Rhinitis and I just thought, “Maybe this is what I have.” 😭
People who sit close to me on campus can tell you how bad my condition was.
There was one day it got so bad that I finished my own tissue roll, finished my seatmate’s tissue, and then started using tissue from someone sitting behind me. 😂 After I finished all the tissue roll, I moved to wipes because it was that bad 😭.
Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, I attended a camp meeting and on the last morning there was a healing service.
People were going out for prayers and I just sat where I was because please, do you know how many times I’ve prayed about this thing already? 😭😂
But as I sat there, I started thinking about how uncomfortable the situation had become.
I thought about how my camp roommates had to adjust because of me🥺😔. They had to put off the AC because if they didn’t, nobody was going to sleep with the way I would be blowing my nose and struggling to breathe.
So I finally stood up and went out for the prayers and I was prayed for.
It’s been 3 weeks and for the first time in years, I have not struggled to breathe through my nose.
I have not touched Loratadine, no inhaler, no nose mask, nothing .
Tbh, even as I type this I still cannot believe that I have gone this long without having to use loratadine. It’s the longest I’ve gone and I believe my testimony is permanent.
Grateful to God fr❤️
@asemota But he's right.
Is it in the best interest of American citizen to allow birth tourism and citizenship for children of illegal immigrants?
Sometimes, it's clear we mostly support what benefits us, not necessarily what right.
@JudeOnoriode@Chidozi7Just@DrJoeAbah There is a limit to a future vision that older people can carry. Not their fault but that's just the way it is.
Why did you think the President took us back to the colonial national anthem.
That's why we need leaders that are from or closer to the younger generation
My Stance on Road Development
There is a pertinent reason I have consistently advocated that we should refrain from initiating new road construction projects until we have thoroughly rehabilitated and maintained our existing road network. Instead of undertaking new ventures and dualization projects that offer marginal benefits, our primary focus ought to be on repairing the critical roads already in place.
Consider, for instance, the Asaba–Benin Road. This thoroughfare is a vital artery within Nigeria's transportation infrastructure. Travellers traversing from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Rivers, Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River, Abia, Enugu, and portions of Benue and Kogi States to Lagos are compelled to utilise this route.
Despite its significance, substantial sections of this road are in a lamentable condition. It has become a major impediment, precipitating persistent traffic congestion and inflicting undue hardship on travellers, businesses, and transport operators.
Regrettably, this situation is not unique; it reflects the reality on many of our busiest national highways.
Our efforts should be directed towards the reconstruction and maintenance of our current road infrastructure before we announce plans for new road projects. The Nigerian populace requires functional and motorable roads, not merely projects that garner public attention.
Efforts aimed at superficial improvements for political gain should not supersede the urgent need to address the condition of our existing, critical roadways.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
@StatiSense Wow!
It's usually made to seem as if the 1993 election was a landslide victory.
As if the entire country preferred MKO Abiola.
Didn't know he lost in many regions
Now I'm thinking, was the election annulled because of perceived rigging, as the main swing votes came from SW
@Montero1016 Yet his party and candidate was about to lose election at end of his tenure, if not for the death of Funsho Williams.
No matter how we want to repaint it, Tinubu's tenure wasn't that memorably good for Lagosians. That's why Fashola in 4 years could eclipse Tinubu's 8 years.

Dear Obidients,
Campaign season is coming. Before it arrives, you NEED to understand something:
There is something the usual suspects are very good at, they have perfected the art and science of it and have used it effectively in the past; PROPAGANDA.
It is most effective when its target audience is unaware or ignorant of how it works.
So…consider this a masterclass on spotting it and spotting THEM, because they have already started !
The most powerful propaganda doesn’t try to win the argument. It constructs the context in which the argument takes place. It first creates an ALTERNATE REALITY and tries to trap the conversation inside of it…
Here’s how to spot it 👇🧵
