@QuincyAvery@realdannyqb Um, most if not all jobs have rules and regulations that govern wages.
I have no problem with players getting a piece of the pie, but it should be a model that is reasonable and equitable.
But really, the P4s need to split off into their own thing.
@SWAYZEGA Yeah, double elim tournaments suck in baseball, that's true. What's also true is that there is not way to schedule a ton of 5 game series without enormous cost and timing issues.
@ReportBulldawg The extra game is so they aren't incentivizing the behavior late in games or after the game.
Every coach is briefed on these rules many times. The NCAA has made it a point of emphasis for umpires to enforce. Johnson needs to teach his guys how to act.
@chessabouche That wasn't passion, it was an obnoxious, 30 second parade of "F*ck you and look at me." Hit the bomb, you can even watch it for a couple seconds. Then run the bases and celebrate with your team.
@Ashncoll Bobby Cox would have never allowed his players to act like that. He's a terrible name to drop for this one... He didn't get ejected for guys showing their ass. They were professionals acting professional.
@HuntPalmer88 They get told over and over they can't flip it above their head... Needs to be taken care of early in the year though so stuff like this doesn't happen.
@nickstrong@alixonmartinez2 There are definitely 2 and 4 year schools. There are also schools that offer both AA/AS and BA/BS. Your overall message of "follow fit" is good. Unfortunately, you make yourself look so ridiculous with the way you try to make it. Also: CAPS doesn't make your point stronger.
@KokiRiley Over the top for sure. Umpires should be setting a standard during week one of the season though, not waiting till the post season to tighten up so they don't look bad on tv.
@sthorn_23 The problem is simple: All season the umpires don't enforce the rules on this stuff and the coaches are too afraid to lose a guy they are paying big money for... then the umpires decide to start doing it right during the post season. Needs to be week 1 thru the end.
@29BarfieldKnows Come on now. You can't scream expletives at the other team. Players are out of control with the taunting and trash talk. Coaches are allowing it because they are afraid to lose guys making alot of money by holding them accountable. And yes, occasionally an ump is out of hand.
@JLucroy20 Coaching, like playing, is a skill. Some people are great at it and others are not. You don't have to have been a great player to be a great coach. Some great players can be great coaches.
@PrestonWillett You have to make a legit attempt to get the guy out. I agree with Pollard that they've probably done it 100 times and never been called, but that doesn't make it wrong.
