While addressing attendees at #Kwibuka32 in Cairo, Amb. CG Dan Munyuza emphasized that commemorating the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi is not a ritual, but a moral obligation, one that ensures the victims are remembered with dignity and truth.
He underscored that remembrance is a responsibility shared across generations, to give voice to those who were silenced, to honour lives that were erased, and to preserve the truth against denial and distortion.
