It’s cute that you trust a camera-only system like it’s a Marvel character, but FSD relying solely on vision is exactly why it struggles in fog, heavy rain, snow, glare, shadows, and low-contrast environments.
LiDAR isn’t “hideous,” it’s how every other self-driving platform avoids killing people when visibility collapses.

A robot that can’t see is just an expensive guess machine or what my mom calls her Roomba.
The weather doesn’t care about aesthetics.
