Went to see CW Stoneking in town tonight. Small show in the basement of a cafe. He played for 2 and a half hours. After an hour people started leaving. I mean, if you buy a ticket to see someone, shouldn’t you be delighted that you’re well and truly getting your money’s worth?

And it’s rare to see such an accomplished songwriter doing such a long show in a such an intimate setting on his own. No pleasing some folks I suppose.
