@tvukzone I think when you engage people of another generation ( aged 72) there must be some acknowledgment of their general awareness and use of language. You canโt expect them to be in line with genz and b politically/ socially correct . The onus is really on the others
@SteveSheasby Easter is THE most important celebration of Christianity, Christmas is just a celebration of Jesus birth, Easter is the central point of Christianity when He rose from the dead. This should be shared with everyone Stephanie Mander is showing her ignorance
@ShadowofEzra It is important to fund the commitment to peace, you are holding the whole world in precarious circumstances through your personal perspective, maybe now weโd need a wider perspective to enable world peace
@mschlapp Enough now, we must acknowledge the current situation and act on future development for the good of worldwide relationships. Stop with the egos and who said what act in the interests of the whole world or we lose it
Here is the full 50-minute conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky.
There are a lot of politicians claiming Zelensky was "ambushed."
There was a full 40 minutes of dialogue before the "fireworks" started.
The president insisted throughout the first 40 minutes that he was focused on peace.
Zelensky responded by strongly pushing back on a ceasefire with Russia and demanded that Putin pay for the entire war.
JD Vance jumps in at the 40-minute mark to clarify the difference between Trump and Biden and their approach to the war.
This apparently ticked off Zelensky which is when the fireworks started.
My initial reaction to the Trump/Zelensky spat was based on the short clip. I've had a chance to watch the entire 53-minute press conference with Zelensky and Trump.
It's painful but I take back what I said earlier. Zelensky decided to attack Vance unnecessarily. He totally messed this up. Yes, Vance played to the gallery afterwards but he was also correct: litigating this stuff in front of the media was really dumb.
Really poor from Zelensky - I hope he can see sense, apologise and get a deal for his country. This was not smart.
@Mick_O_Keeffe A police force is surely a regulated and trustworthy institution, especially if they are to be acknowledged and respected by the general public they serve. It used to be a profession with high standards and high expectations, not merely a crowd control management service
@toadmeister@ZimGuyInUK Plus they could make you homeless. The biggest worry of all that they will be able to take your land, house whatever they want.
I've been posting about this for weeks but nobody seems bothered. It will be the usual panic once the penny has dropped.
