Police in the Bojanala Platinum Sub-District 1 have warned truck drivers about a rise in truck hijackings in Brits, Mmakau and Mothotlung.

Several cases have been reported since the beginning of December.
Drivers are urged to stay vigilant, especially when dealing with unknown clients or delivering to unfamiliar areas.

Police advise avoiding secluded places and instead meeting at busy public areas such as fuel stations.
